Smartest Ways of Loading a Moving Truck

Performing a move on your home can be very economical and can work to your advantage. However, if you do not know how to properly load a moving truck it can be quite challenging. Before you begin doing anything at all you will want to make sure that you have the best moving supplies for the job. This means you will want to make sure that you have dollies, hand trucks and plenty of boxes as well as packing tape. In addition, you will also want to be sure that you have plenty of furniture, especially if you have items that are fragile or highly breakable. Once you have all of your supplies in order you want to go about making a game plan for loading the truck. You should always start with your largest pieces of furniture first and push them all the way to the back of the truck. Try not to leave gaps or spaces where you could help with something useful. After you have loaded all the furniture in the best space conserving fashion, that you want to start putting your boxes in the truck. Always start with the heaviest boxes on the bottom working your way up to the lightest boxes.

If you have dishes or fragile items that you have put in boxes you will want to make sure that those go on the truck very last. You will also want to make sure and with something like a pillow on the bottom of the box as well as on top of the box. In fact, if possible you want to surround your fragile boxes by plenty of padding cushion, comforter and even pillows. This will ensure that none of your fragile items get broken while the truck is moving. Remember the truck will go over bumps and if the truck is not that good shocks this could cause your things to be broken.
